At Ethos Agro Group Limited, our nutmeg is sourced directly from tropical farming communities in East Africa and the Indian Ocean region, where nutmeg trees are cultivated in smallholder agroforestry systems alongside other crops.

Each nutmeg is harvested when the fruit naturally splits open—revealing the seed (nutmeg) wrapped in its vibrant red aril (mace). We work closely with farmers and local stations to ensure:

• Careful harvesting at full maturity

• Proper separation of nutmeg and mace

• Controlled drying to preserve oil content, aroma, and shelf stability

• Clean sorting and grading at origin

• Full traceability from farm to export lot

This direct model allows us to deliver consistent, export-quality nutmeg, while supporting the communities that produce it.
